Ministry

The conference ministry has developed to include weekend and 5 day conferences at intervals from Easter to August. Accommodation for these conferences is available either in Rora House or in caravans and tents in the grounds. There are also children’s and youth camps through the month of August. In between organised activities, the house and grounds are available to be booked by Church or Christian Union groups etc who wish to hold their own activity. Catering can be done either by the team at Rora, or each group can cater for themselves in the self catering kitchen. All other facilities required will be available on request.

Accommodation in Rora House is available in a variety of single, double and family rooms, making a total of 30 beds. A few 3-4 berth caravans are available for the months May to September. These provide extra sleeping space as necessary. Visitors must provide their own bedding when using caravans. All beds have duvets, sheets, pillows and pillowcases, extra blankets are available, visitors must bring their own towels. Almost all rooms have wash basins. Bathrooms, toilets and showers are easily accessible from all rooms. The maximum number that can be catered for in the dining room at any one time is 60.

Self Catering Facilities

We are able to offer Self Catering accommodation at Rora for groups of up to 30 people, with a fully equipped modern kitchen (including dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine and cooker).

Costs

No fixed charge is made for any accommodation at Rora, or for the use of the facilities. We do trust however, that each person/group will be faithful in their giving and thus enable the work to continue.

Rora is a registered charity and can hugely benefit from donations made via Gift Aid.
