Concreting the floor went well, and was completed in 3 weeks! First official use of the new building was by the Home Educators group who visited us in July 2010. They had previously sent a work party to help with the wood batoning on this building, so it seemed fitting that they 'christened' the new building. More photos in the Gallery.

April 2010 - They were here for 3½ days and have transformed the building. The next stage is to concrete the floor.

April 2010 - A Work Party (from a group that regularly visits Rora) came to do the wood batoning on the catering barn.

The building, which will be mainly used for catering and dining facilities for groups visiting Rora, is coming along. The floor has been dug out, ready to receive hardcore and concrete. A work party has been arranged for mid April to work specifically on this building. (Feb 2010)

New Church Building (to the rhs of Dining Room) is making progress. Exterior has been rendered, first fix electrics are in, and the interior has been plastered (Feb 2010).
